Course description: This course provides students with extensive opportunities to communicate, interact, and think critically and creatively in French. Students will use a variety of language learning strategies in listening, speaking, reading, and writing, and will respond to and interact with print, oral, visual, and electronic texts. Students will develop their knowledge of the French language through the study of contemporary French literature and historically well-known French European literature. They will also increase their understanding and appreciation of diverse French-speaking communities, and will develop skills necessary for lifelong language learning.
